Middletown police used a Taser on a student at Woodrow Wilson Middle School on Wednesday morning.
Police released limited information about the incident because the student is a juvenile, but said Middletown police and school resource officers responded to the school when staff members called for assistance and the student was uncooperative and combative, police said.
"The officers tried to take the student into custody and during the arrest was the student "drive" stunned one time with a Taser," a release from police said. "The student was then compliant with officer's directions and the arrest continued without further incident."
Police said the student was not hurt.
