A Montville man was arrested today following the six-month investigation of a gunpoint robbery in Norwich, police said.
Shaun Cooley, 35, of 986 Norwich-New London Turnpike, was arrested Tuesday morning following the December 2012 armed robbery of a Shell Food Mart.
During the robbery, Cooley showed a handgun and demanded money. He stole $450 and fled on foot.
Cooley, who is already in prison for other unrelated criminal charges, has been charged with first-degree robbery and sixth-degree larceny. He is being held on $200,000 bond and will be arraigned in Norwich Superior Court.
