Emergency crews have found a female who walked away from Connecticut Valley Hospital, according to state police.
The person was found in woods off of Labella Circle in Middletown. Her condition is unknown.
Jim Siemianowski, spokesman for CVH, said state police issued an Amber Alert two days ago, but would not confirm the patient’s name because of security laws.
He said some CVH patients are allowed to walk around grounds depending on their treatment level. When someone disappears, campus police are notified and decide whether to contact Middletown police.
If a patient violates the right to move around campus, medical professionals can take away the privilege.
