Elm Street in New Haven has reopened after investigators determined that a bag found in a garage leading to the New Haven City Hall contained nothing more than bus transfer tickets.
The small plastic bag was found hanging near the opening of a tunnel that leads underneath city hall, the New Haven court house and much of Elm Street.
The bomb squad responded and X-rayed.
While Elm Street has reopened, the investigation continues because someone reported that a bomb was left there, officials said.
