Police arrested a 44-year-old Norwich woman on prostitution charges twice in 24 hours.
Beth Sikorski was arrested on a prostitution charge on Thursday and was out on bond when police arrested her on the same charge on Friday, police said.
Patrol officers saw her loitering in the Greenville section of Norwich early Friday morning area trying to gain the attention of drivers, police said.
An undercover officer was sent to investigate and approached Sikorski, who has been convicted for prostitution in the past, police said.
They made an arrangement for sexual favors, including intercourse, and Sikorski was arrested at Boswell Avenue and Eleventh Street, according to police.
She was held in lieu of a $10,000 cash bond pending her arraignment at Norwich Superior Court on Friday.
Police arrested Mariah Freehart, 20, soon after at Broad Street and Boswell Avenue on prostitution charges as well when an undercover officer approached her and they made an agreement to exchange money for sexual favors.
Police said Freehart has previously been arrested on prostitution charges.
She was held in lieu of $10,000 cash bond and arraigned at Norwich Superior Court today.
