Thieves smashed their way into the Fossil store at Clinton Crossings over the weekend and stolen 1,000 watches valued at a combined $175,000, according to police.
When the employee opened the store around 9 a.m. on Saturday, he or she discovered smashed display cases, according to police.
Police said the thieves smashed the lock to the store, smashed display cases and stole around 1,000 Fossil, Michael Kors and Emporio Armani watches, police said.
The burglars were wearing masks and gloves. Police believe the burglary happened between 4 a.m. and 5:30 a.m.
