One person is in the hospital fighting for their life after a serious car crash early Sunday morning.
Branford Police and fire responded to the crash on Hosley Ave. at 1:21 Sunday morning. Upon arrival, police found a car that had crashed into a tree.
The driver of the vehicle was out of the car and the passenger was trapped. The vehicle was on fire when crews first arrived.
Emergency crews were able to remove the female passenger and carry her to safety. She was transported to Yale New Haven Hospital with life threatening injuries. The driver was also transported with non life threatening injuries.
