Authorities are investigating an active crime scene on Riverview Street in Portland after a man was found unconscious and injured on the side of the road, according to police.
Police arrived at the scene after a man was found lying injured on the side of the road. Authorities said the man's face is swollen and bruised. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.
His identity is unknown.
Portland police and the State Police Major Crimes Division are investigating. Authorities said they are calling the situation suspicious.
