Two people were sent to the hospital after a early morning fire in their home in Willimantic.
Fire crews responded to 76 Brook St shortly before 9 a.m. on Monday morning.
Upon arrival, they discovered heavy smoke and flames coming from the second level of a home. The fire took over an hour before it was fully extinguished. Fire officials are calling it a two-alarm fire.
Two people were sent to the hospital suffering first and second degree burns.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
