Milford Police have arrested a man they believe is responsible for stealing nearly 50 laptops from a storage facility in town.
According to police, Brent Johnson, 24, removed a number of the Apple IMAC computers from the Milford Technology Advisory Council storage facility at 125 Old Gate Lane.
Police first received the complaint on January 18.
An investigation led them issue an arrest warrant for Johnson. He is accused of removing some of the computers and attempting to sell them at the storage facility.
On May 25, Johnson surrendered to police and was charged with Larcency 2nd Degree. He was released on a $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Milford Superior Court on June 18.
The Milford Police continue to investigate these thefts and are asking anyone who may have purchased or is in possession of any of the IMAC computers to contact Detective Nash at 203-877-1465.
