The pilot of an ultralight aircraft that crashed at Ellington Airport Sunday morning has died, according to State Police.
The crash was reported shortly after 10 a.m.
Emergency officials responded to the Somers Road airport. Life Star was called to the scene.
Connecticut State Police and Federal Aviation Administration are investigating.
The name of the pilot has been withheld pending family notification.
