A 63-year-old man said he was attacked by a group of teens while jogging in a New Haven park last Friday afternoon.
Police said the attack happened around 5:30 p.m. near the skateboard section of the park.
The man had jogged past the group of five to seven teens, who turned back and jumped the victim, police said.
He had no wallet, no cell phone or cash on him. The teens kicked and punched him in an attack that around 20 seconds before the teens fled, according to reports.
The man suffered some a gash to his forehead and a broken arm.
Police are urging people who use the park to be on alert while exercising there, to pay attention to their surroundings and exercise in a group.
